1. It belongs to the people who make MetaTrader
MQL5.com is run by MetaQuotes, the company behind MetaTrader 4 and 5, so the Market is wired into the trading platform itself — you open the Market tab in your terminal and browse from there. No file to download from somewhere else.
2. Every EA is checked before it is listed
Every program goes through MQL5's automated checks before publication, and every new version goes through them again. The checks look for serious errors, ban external libraries (DLL), ban hidden restrictions or unfriendly mechanisms, and the listing itself may not contain external links or profit promises.
Worth being clear about: MQL5 checks the program. It does not check or endorse trading results.
3. The copy you get is tied to your machine
MQL5 builds a copy encrypted for your machine (an activation), usable on as many computers or VPS as the listing allows (ours: 10). That copy cannot be handed to someone else, and nobody can pass a cracked file off as ours — you know you have the genuine, current version.
4. Updates actually reach you
When we publish a new version your terminal tells you and updates in one click. No waiting for a file in chat, no wondering whether the file you received is the real one.
5. Payment and licensing run through the intermediary
You pay MQL5, not us. Payment, licensing and activation are handled by MetaQuotes under the same rules as every other product in the shop. The developer never sees your card or bank details.
6. Your data stays yours
Array Breakout sends us no account data, no name and no trading history. The EA runs in your terminal with your broker only (Telegram alerts are optional and use your own bot). Tying the licence to a machine is MQL5's job, not ours.
7. You can try it in your own terminal first
Every product on the Market has a Free demo button: download it and run it in your own Strategy Tester on your broker's data. You can check how it behaves before deciding, without asking anyone for a file.
8. Reviews and version history are public
The listing keeps reviews from real users (MQL5 only lets buyers review) and the full version history, which the developer cannot delete — what you see is what everyone sees.
What MQL5 does not do
The Market does not run the EA for you — it runs in your terminal, and round-the-clock operation needs a VPS (MQL5 sells one, or use any other) · MQL5 does not guarantee the trading results of any product and is not a broker · Refunds follow the Market's rules, not the developer's, so read them first.
